ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Electrical Tutors are leaders. They’re helping to shape the future of New Zealand’s electrical industry. When you join our team of Tutors, you’ll be joining a supportive, collaborative team of industry experts who are proud to be inspiring the next generation of Registered Electricians.
The work is energizing and meaningful. As you watch your students’ skill, understanding and confidence grow, you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that you’ve made a profound impact on their lives, and you are contributing to a skilled workforce for our electrical industry.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Course delivery, assessment, and development
- Deliver and assess ETCO approved courses in a block course and day release format
- Manage the delivery of Year 1 to Year 3 block courses, day releases and foundation courses
- Delivery of CPD Courses
- Support our apprentices by providing pastoral care and encouragement
- Monitor student achievements and results, providing timely feedback to students
- Build strong working relationships with Learning Support Managers and Apprentice Mentors

ABOUT YOU:
As well as an unwavering focus on empowering and inspiring your students, you’ll bring the following to the role:
• NZ Electrical Registration (Full Practicing License, Inspectors License or Electrical Engineering Degree or similar)
• Extensive practical experience in New Zealand’s electrical industry
• Prior people management or supervisory experience. Proficient in Microsoft systems (Outlook, Work, Powerpoint)
